Nanny / Housekeeper (Hybrid Role) – Rumson, NJ

A warm and welcoming family in Rumson, NJ is seeking a full-time Nanny/Housekeeper to help care for their three young boys, ages 6, 5, and almost 2 years old.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys both childcare and helping a busy household run smoothly. The family is looking for a caring, dependable professional who takes initiative, enjoys staying organized, and genuinely enjoys being around children.

The role will include a combination of childcare responsibilities and household support while the children are at school or in programs.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, Full-time position, hours TBD but likely 9 am - 5 pm

Childcare Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and age-appropriate care for three boys ages 6, 5, and almost 2
• Help children get ready for school on some mornings
• Pick up the youngest child from his half-day program
• Take children to the park, library, and other local activities
• Occasionally pick up the older boys from school or activities
• Engage children in play, conversation, and activities that support their development
• Follow family routines and help maintain a positive, structured environment
• Ensure the children are safe, happy, and well cared for at all times

Household Responsibilities

While the children are at school or programs, responsibilities will focus on helping maintain an organized and well-functioning home, including:

• Family laundry
• Tidying and organizing
• Keeping common areas clean and presentable
• Loading and unloading dishwasher
• Light meal preparation as needed
• Household errands as requested
• General household support to help parents stay organized
