Full-Time Nanny (Job #639)

This sweet family is searching for a nanny who is professional, energetic, and motivated! Are you ready to help cultivate an imaginative but safe environment for these sweet brothers in Mt. Pleasant, SC?

• Charge(s): M, 23 months old; M, 6 months old
• Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm or 8:00-4:00pm **Family will require flexibility with the hours week to week and the availability to work later on occasion, with advanced notice.
• Minimum Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 40
• Paid Time Off Benefits: Nanny will earn 40 hours of PTO every 6 months. PTO may be used for any reason, including vacation, illness, medical appointments, family care, and personal business. This is in addition to 9 paid holidays which fall on the nanny’s normal Monday-Friday work day (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).

• Starting Hourly Rate: $30-32/hour DOE paid on a W-2
• Projected start date: As soon as possible

Nanny Job Requirements:

• Nanny will be required to; tidy up the house throughout the day to keep the household running smoothly and efficiently. The boys needs should always come first.
• Resetting the home by, unloading and reloading the dishwasher, general organization, assisting with the charges’ laundry, keeping the home tidy, etc.
• Nanny should be active with charges. Taking them for walks around the neighborhood (weather permitting), playing in the yard, and eventually taking them to the library, museums, parks, etc.
• Nanny must have a safe, reliable vehicle to drive.
• Nanny should be comfortable prepping healthy meals for the charges and encouraging them to try new foods every week.
• Nanny will keep up with the charges’ developmental needs and update their schedules accordingly.
• Nanny should be able to keep the children on their daily schedule/routine.
• Nanny should have a good understanding of healthy eating habits and encourage charges to eat a healthy diet.
• Phones and other electronics use should be limited while nanny is working.
• Nanny should encourage good manners, a positive attitude, and good listening with charges.
• Nanny will keep track of charges’ needs and communicate with the family to order what is needed.
• Nanny should provide educational resources for charges.
• Nanny must pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
• Nanny must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Nanny must have a current CPR and first aid certification.
• Nanny must abide by a no smoking and no vaping policy at all times.
