Full-Time Nanny – Los Angeles (Los Feliz / Silver Lake Area) | $36–$40/hr

A warm and professional family relocating to the Los Feliz / Silver Lake area of Los Angeles

is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their two children: 4 years old boy and 7 months old

girl. The family is looking for a proactive, experienced nanny who enjoys supporting early

childhood development and creating a calm, structured, and nurturing environment.

This is a long-term position for a professional nanny who values consistency, flexibility, and

becoming a trusted part of a family’s daily routine.

Start Date:

Late April / Early May 2026 (family relocating from Seattle)

Schedule:

Monday–Friday

8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

40 guaranteed hours per week

Approximately 2 date nights per month

Compensation:

$36–$40 per hour, depending on experience

About the Children:

• 4 year old – curious, energetic, and preparing to start TK in Fall 2026

• 7 month old – infant care including naps, feeding, and developmental play

• Children typically wake around 7:00 AM

Typical Morning Routine:

The nanny will arrive and assist with the morning routine, including breakfast and lunch

preparation. The 4-year-old will typically have preschool drop-off around 8:30 AM (parents

may also assist). After drop-off, the nanny will focus on caring for 7mo old and supporting her

daily nap and activity schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Attentive care for both children

• Infant care including naps, bottles, and developmental activities

• Preschool drop-off and safe transportation of children

• Preparing simple meals and lunches for the children

• Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and outings• Maintaining organization of children’s spaces and toys

• Light child-related tidying and laundry as needed

Travel:

The family travels periodically and would love a nanny who is open to both domestic and

international travel, including potential trips to India.

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional nanny experience

• Proven experience caring for newborns/infants and multiple children simultaneously

• Strong understanding of early childhood development

• Proactive, calm, and organized with the ability to manage a busy household rhythm

• Flexible with schedule and occasional travel

• Discreet, dependable, and an excellent communicator

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required

• Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI history
