Full-Time Nanny Merrick

A loving family in North Merrick is seeking a warm, experienced full-time nanny for their almost 1-year-old child. This will be the first time transitioning from family care to a nanny, so finding a patient, nurturing, and reassuring presence is extremely important.

One parent commutes into Manhattan daily, and the other works locally with an unpredictable schedule. While one parent may occasionally be home early, this is a true full-time role with consistent daytime hours.

The family is hoping to find a long-term nanny who can grow with them and provide stability and structure during this important developmental stage.

Responsibilities:

• Full care for an 11–12 month old
• Supporting healthy routines and developmental milestones
• Assisting with nap transitions (currently two contact naps per day)
• Potential gentle sleep routine adjustments
• Preparing and serving meals (child is a strong eater, no allergies)
• Engaged, hands-on play
• Reading, walks, and outdoor time
• Maintaining a low/no screen-time environment
• Tidying child-related spaces
