Full-Time Nanny Needed – New Canaan, CT

Looking for a loving, energetic full-time nanny to care for three children (ages 5, 3 and 8 months) in New Canaan.

Schedule:

• Mondays-Thursday, 7:30am-6:30pm with the option to add Fridays if desired

Requirements:

• English speaking, fully fluent
• Ideally 10 years + nannying experience
• Special needs experience
• 5-year old boy has special needs related to ADHD and sensory challenges
• Will be in kindergarten in the fall
• Need to work with family and therapist on best practices in supporting/working with him
• Handbook and support provided
• Has valid driver’s license (a family car is provided)
• Dependable, warm, and engaging with children
• Strong communication and teamwork with parents, brings a positive active presence to the day

Responsibilities include:

• Child-focused:
• Engaging in play
• Supporting routines
• Helping the kids learn responsibility
• Supporting special needs child
• Take children on outings to various places–not always same routine daily
• Light child-related housekeeping, including:
• Children's laundry
• Simple meal prep for the kids

Rate:

• $32-$35 an hour
• On the books

Location: New Canaan, CT

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
