Overview
We’re looking for a kind, dependable nanny to join our family and care for our infant in a warm, loving environment. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with opportunities for additional hours if desired.
The ideal candidate is CPR certified, experienced with infants, and enjoys creating a calm, engaging space that supports early development. Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
- Engage in educational activities, playtime, and developmental exercises that promote learning and social skills
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, diapering, and nap times to support healthy habits
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, including cleaning toys and children's areas
- Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures, to handle emergencies confidently and effectively
Experience
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups, especially infants and preschoolers
- Knowledge of childcare best practices including infant care, toddler care, meal preparation for young children, and early childhood development techniques
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations
- Experience with caregiving tasks such as light cleaning related to childcare routines and meal preparation
- Prior nannying or babysitting experience demonstrating reliability, patience, and strong communication skills
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
