Full-Time Nanny / House Manager – Downtown NYC (Live-Out)

A busy and welcoming family in Tribeca NYC is seeking a full-time nanny/house manager to support their home and care for their two children, ages 8 and 5.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys a balanced role—keeping a home running smoothly during the day and then transitioning into engaged, attentive childcare in the afternoons and evenings.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, typically 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Some flexibility for occasional earlier days
• 40 hours guaranteed

Responsibilities:

Household Support (while children are at school):

• General cleaning and tidying (deep cleaning handled separately)
• Organization and maintaining household systems
• Dishes, laundry, and light household upkeep
• Meal prep and occasional cooking
• Running errands as needed

Childcare (afternoon/evening):

• School pick-up (children attend school uptown)
• Accompanying children to after-school activities
• Preparing snacks and supporting afternoon routines
• Assisting with and supervising homework
• Supporting dinner and evening routines
• Supervising playdates

Ideal Candidate

• Warm, engaging, and brings fun, positive energy to the children
• Highly organized and able to create and maintain systems in the home
• Proactive and takes initiative in supporting the family
• Comfortable balancing childcare and household responsibilities
• Able to travel and spend one month in the Hamptons each summer

Compensation & Benefits

• $30–$38/hour based on skills and experience
• Paid vacation, holidays, and PTO

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
