Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) wanted to work full-time as a W-2 position in a personal injury medical practice to treat injured employees to help process their workman's compensation claim.

Openings: 1 position
The ideal candidate is an NP/PA who has experience in evaluating musculoskeletal disorders such as the spine, muscle, and joint problems, has experience with prescribing Durable Medical Equipments (DMEs), and is able to complete and close out charts within 24-48 hours.
Occupational health, orthopedic, federal/state workman's compensation, pain management, urgent care, rehab, veteran's disability exams, or personal injury background is a plus!
Responsibilities and Duties
Must be available at least 5 days a week.
The NP/PA will document patient encounters, provide medical opinions with initial reports, follow up exams, perform physical exams, schedule future appointments, and refer patients to physical therapy, orthopedics/specialists, and/or radiology.
The NP/PA collaborates and works closely with case managers and physical therapists to create a plan of care for each patient.
Must be able to complete charts within 24-48 hours, work independently with little-to-no supervision, be organized, attention to detail, have good writing skills to write patient narratives, be motivated, and is a self-starter.
Patient load: ~12+ patients cases per day

Contract term: 1 year (renewable) + Annual Retention Bonus
Qualifications and Skills
Must be licensed to practice in Maryland. Licensed Virginia is a plus!
