Full-time or Part-Time Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview:
Total Body Wellness is hiring a motivated certified Nurse Practitioner to see and treat patients for a variety of wellness needs, such as hormone imbalances, thyroid support, gut health, weight management, and more. Total Body Wellness seeks to build a team of practitioners that put patients first and provide personalized medicine to pursuit of making people feel, look, and being better.

Responsibilities:

• Perform consultation visits with patients
• Interpret lab values
• Evaluation of patient’s medical history, physical findings, and diagnostic/laboratory data
• Accurately document treatment, follow-up and/or client concerns in chart using approved guidelines/forms for procedure
• Initiate and prescribe drug therapies, diet/exercise therapies, topical and systemic therapies
• Cultivate an environment of trust and compassion between patients and providers
• Consult patients on adjacent treatments within the clinic
• Recommend and promote products to client
• Actively build repeat clientele by ensuring an ongoing high level of patient satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in nursing from an accredited nurse practitioner program
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Prescriptive authority, including DEA license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional training in Functional Medicine through IFM, A4M, or similar organizations is strongly preferred
• Experience prescribing and managing bioidentical hormone replacement therapy strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of the use of supplements and vitamins as complementary treatment modalities
• Experience in use of cosmetic injectables, such as toxins and fillers is highly preferred

*NOTE ABOUT ROLE: Total Body Wellness maintains clinics in both Brownsburg and Greenwood. This role may require NP to hold office hours at both locations. The exact amount of hours in each clinic will be negotiated by both parties before the role is accepted.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
