Full Time - Part Time Receptionist

Front Desk Receptionist (Full-Time/Part- Time / Morning Shift)

We are seeking a professional and reliable Front Desk Receptionist (18+) to manage our hotel’s front desk operations and perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties. This full-time position involves welcoming guests, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, and delivering excellent customer service. While our workplace maintains a relaxed atmosphere, the ideal candidate must be comfortable handling fast-paced periods and multiple priorities.

As the first point of contact for our hotel, the Receptionist plays a critical role in creating positive guest experiences and ensuring all front desk operations are executed to the highest standards. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to remain courteous and efficient at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Create new reservations and modify existing reservations upon guest request
  • Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
  • Enroll guests into the BW Rewards program and explain program benefits
  • Count, balance, and maintain the front desk cash drawer
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
  • Print guest handouts and necessary documentation
  • Stock front desk supplies, including room keys, toiletries, sundries, and rewards member gifts
  • Prepare the front desk for shift changes by tidying and restocking
  • Document late check-out requests
  • Review and prepare for daily arrivals
  • Handle third-party billing and hotel billing procedures
  • Track and communicate guest complaints to maintenance and housekeeping teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and proactive work style
  • Prior hospitality experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with computer-based systems
  • Experience using office equipment (e.g., credit card machines, printers)
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and prioritize responsibilities
  • Positive customer service mindset
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus

Availability Requirements

  • Morning shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Weekend availability required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
