Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring prompt and correct service
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in serving, host/hostess roles, or food industry positions is highly desirable
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required

Pay: $8.00 - $25.00 per hour
