Schedule & Hours

• Standard Schedule: Monday – Friday, typically 40–45 hours per week.
• The "Two-Schedule" System: Because Mom works in a hospital, we need a nanny who can be flexible between two set rotations:
• Busy Weeks (approx. 16 weeks/year): 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Standard Weeks: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Bonus Hours: Occasional evening (until 8:00 PM) and weekend hours are available to assist Dad when Mom is on call.

Responsibilities

• Infant Care: Feeding, changing, soothing, reading, and engaging in gross motor development activities.
• Preschooler Engagement: Supervising play, assisting with dressing, and organizing age-appropriate activities for a 5-year-old and a 3-year-old.
• Meal Prep: Preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Transportation: Driving children to and from school/preschool when needed.
• School Transitions: Providing care for the older boys before and after school, as well as on school holidays.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience working with both infants and preschool-age children.
• Multitasker: Ability to manage the needs of three children under five simultaneously.
• Reliable & Proactive: We need someone who takes initiative and is exceptionally dependable.
• Active Lifestyle: You should be energetic and enjoy being physically active with the kids.
• Community-Minded: A nanny who enjoys connecting with other local nannies for playdates and socialization is a plus.
• Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Nanny with Child: We are open to candidates who may need to bring their own child with them.

About the Family

We are a busy, active family in Edina looking for a dedicated nanny to join our team starting in late July or early August. With three children under the age of five (including an infant born in October 2025), our household is full of energy! We love being outdoors—whether it’s heading to the park, biking, swimming, or spending weekends at our family cabin.

We also have a friendly, energetic Black Lab, so please be comfortable with dogs!
