Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Endocrinology & Diabetes

Capital Diabetes and Endocrine Associates (CDEA) is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing outpatient endocrinology practice in Camp Springs, Maryland.

We are looking for a motivated, compassionate provider who is passionate about helping patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders achieve better health outcomes. Endocrinology experience is preferred, but candidates with strong backgrounds in internal medicine, family medicine, or primary care with significant diabetes management experience are encouraged to apply.

About the Position

• Full-time outpatient position
• Monday–Friday schedule
• No hospital rounds
• No inpatient responsibilities
• Collaborative team environment with experienced endocrinologists and advanced practice providers
• Modern practice with dedicated clinical support staff and EMR

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with:
• Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes
• Obesity
• Thyroid disorders
• Osteoporosis
• Other endocrine conditions
• Adjust insulin regimens and diabetes medications
• Manage GLP-1 receptor agonists, SGLT2 inhibitors, and other endocrine therapies
• Interpret CGM data and assist with insulin pump management
• Provide patient education and counseling
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current PA-C certification
• Eligible for Maryland licensure
• DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care

Preferred

• Experience in endocrinology or diabetes management
• Familiarity with continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps
• Experience managing complex diabetes in an outpatient setting
