Full Time Printing Graphic/Social Media Designer and Delivery Assistant

Minuteman Press – Uptown Charlotte is seeking a full-time Graphic/Social Media Designer, Customer Service Rep, and delivery Assistant. This role will be responsible for designing and delivering products.

Responsibilities include:

· Must understand printing imposition, processes, and requirements.

· Working in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to create effective designs for customers.

· Set files for printing, color calibrating, imposition. Preparing files for print production; checking fonts, links, and colors. Creating Bleeds, crops and composing art when required.

· Review job specification from work orders and ensure that client files are accurate to produce job.

· General shop cleaning.

· Follow work order directions accurately to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Maintain Minuteman Press branding standards and work with company proprietary software.

· Training will be provided on our in-house software for quotes, order taking, and invoicing.

· Assist other departments as needed with basic packaging and production needs. We have a team-based atmosphere.

· Assist with social media and website graphic and content management.

Desired Qualifications:

· College/university degree preferred; 2- or 4-year trade school acceptable.

· A minimum of 2-3 years’ proven experience in graphic design.

· Experience with Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher is necessary for this position.

· Experience operating digital printing equipment & large format printing equipment is a plus.

· Experience with personalized database printing (variable data printing), postal regulations and mailing services.

· Strong in-person, written, and verbal communication skills are a must.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to drive to customer location on daily basis in about 10–15-mile radius from the store location. A company car will be used for delivery.

· Experience operating digital printing equipment & large format printing equipment.

· Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as necessary.

· Candidates must have reliable transportation and be dependably on time.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
