## About the Role

I run multiple faceless YouTube channels targeting US/UK audiences. I'm looking for **two reliable editor** who can handle long-form edits (20–40 min videos) consistently.

**Primary focus: true crime + historical documentary content (80% of work).** Occasional animation-style edits will also come up, but those are template-based and I'll train you on the workflow.

This is not a one-off gig. I want someone who grows with the projects, gets faster over time, and eventually becomes the backbone of the editing side while I focus on scripting, research, and growth.

## What You'll Actually Do

- Edit **15–18 long-form videos per month** (average 20–40 minutes finished length)

- Deliver roughly **4 finished videos per week** on a consistent schedule

- Sync AI voiceover (ElevenLabs) with B-roll footage (Minecraft gameplay, stock footage, historical images, animations)

- Add captions, sound design, background music, and transitions that keep retention high

- Follow a clear editing style guide for each channel (I'll provide references from top competitors)

- Create thumbnails in Canva

- Maintain folder structure and raw file organization

## Must-Haves (Don't Apply Without These)

- **Minimum 1 year** of YouTube long-form editing experience (not wedding videos, not Shorts)

- Proficiency in **Premiere Pro OR DaVinci Resolve** (CapCut is not enough for this role)

- Ability to work with **AI voiceover pacing** — cutting breath gaps, adding emphasis, matching visuals to narration

- Fast, stable internet (for handling large raw files)

- PC/laptop capable of handling 4K editing smoothly

- English comprehension good enough to follow narrative scripts and match B-roll to content

- Discipline to deliver on schedule without constant follow-ups

- Experience editing true crime, documentary, or history content

- Familiar with channels like **History in Frames, Hidden West, MrBallen, LEMMiNO**

- Can do basic motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds)

- Thumbnail design skills in Photoshop or Canva

## Hiring Process
