Full-Time Retail Cashier

Job Description:
Now Hiring – Cashier (Fort Smith, AR)
Schedule (Must Meet):
Full-time hours
Thursday–Sunday with availability between 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Overtime available during the spring and summer season
Direct Staffing is currently hiring for a Cashier position with one of our local customers. This is a fast-paced lawn and garden retail environment that serves both homeowners and contractors. We are looking for dependable, professional candidates with strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Pay:
Starting at $14.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Responsibilities:

• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Assist customers with purchases and general questions
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
• Support team members as needed

Requirements:

• Must have verifiable work history with stable employment (no job hopping)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Clean and neat appearance
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and staff
• Reliable transportation and good attendance required
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a drug screen (no THC per customer policy)
