Full-Time Server

The Henley Park Hotel, located near the Convention Center, has outstanding opportunities for excellent servers. We are currently hiring for a Full-Time Server to work in the restaurant.

The main responsibility is to serve food and beverage to guests in a courteous and friendly manner in accordance with established hotel guest service standards.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and promotions.
• Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with precision.
• Ensure that all food safety standards are met during preparation and service.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a POS system is beneficial.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
• Strong guest relations skills to foster a welcoming environment for all patrons.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while managing multiple tasks.

The successful candidate will have a great personality and excellent customer service skills. Candidates for the Server position must be able to work a flexible schedule. The Server position requires the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: From $11.47 per hour
