Full Time Server

Job Summary
Please challenge yourself to join a team of highly motivated professionals on the Waterway. We have a great location and a 19 year history of providing exceptional service. We are in search of a server whom is available full-time and willing to work week days and weekends. All levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with genuine hospitality.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using our advanced Toast POS system.
• Provide detailed menu recommendations, upselling specials and beverages to enhance the guest experience.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy hours to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and process payments with care.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations throughout your shift.
• Collaborate with team members to create a vibrant nightlife atmosphere in nightclub settings when applicable.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety, handling, sanitation, and preparation.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Experience in fine dining environments or upscale restaurants is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods; multitask seamlessly.
• Knowledge of sales techniques including upselling to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software such as OpenTable for reservations and seating management.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting.
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or server is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts in a lively nightclub or restaurant setting. Pay: $500.00 - $800.00 per week
