Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system Toast ensuring efficient processing and timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage tables effectively by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a seamless dining flow
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining proper sanitation standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety, proper food handling, and timely food preparation
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment in both fine dining settings and lively nightclubs

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience with a strong background in food service and guest relations
• Proficiency with POS systems is a must.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation enhances your ability to assist guests effectively
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Strong sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items to boost revenue
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for accurate cash handling
• Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $11.60 per hour

Work Location: In person
