Position: Full-Time Short-Term Summer Nanny
Location: Denver, CO
Start Date: 5/26/26 (by 6/1/26) - 8/14/26
Rate: Starting at $27/hr
Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9-4
Family: 12 year-old
Duties: Tasks include attending to basic childcare needs, organizing age-appropriate activities, and light housekeeping tasks related to the child. Spending time with and helping entertain and engage in his preferred activities (a lot of video games).
Key Nanny Attributes: An ideal nanny is someone who combines professional childcare experience—particularly with neurodivergent support—with a heart for patience and flexibility. We value reliability and honest communication. Most importantly, we hope to find someone who is naturally enthusiastic and playful, ready to jump into our world with energy and joy. A clean background check and driving record are required for this role. Ability to work in a household with a dog is required.
Position Overview:

Seeking a flexible, reliable, and engaged nanny for the summer. The role involves supporting the child's daily activities and well-being. You will also be responsible for attending to general childcare needs, such as ensuring their safety, comfort, and engagement. Planning and organizing age-appropriate activities will be key to keeping the child entertained and learning. Additionally, light housekeeping duties related to the child's needs, such as tidying up their play areas or organizing their belongings, will be part of the role.

- Provide attentive and loving care for the child, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, including educational games, outdoor play, and creative projects.

- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the children.

- Manage daily routines.

- Assist with homework and educational tasks as needed.

- Perform light housekeeping duties related to the child, such as tidying play areas, and cleaning up after meals.

- Transport the child to and from activities, appointments, or camps as needed.

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding the child’s daily activities, milestones, and any concerns.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role.

- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents..

- Background check and references required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
