Full Time Spanish Speaking Nanny Needed for 3 Year Old

A friendly family in Brookline is seeking a reliable, engaging, Spanish-speaking nanny to care for their two daughters: a 3-year-old and a 6-month-old. The older child attends school full-time, so care will primarily be for the baby; however, the nanny should be comfortable caring for both children when needed. This is a live-out, full-time, long-term position with a family that values warmth, positivity, and a caregiver who is naturally engaging with children.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years old
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant childcare experience
  • Up to date on COVID-19, Flu, and Tdap vaccinations
  • Comfortable caring for infants
  • Spanish-speaking (100% Spanish with the children, English with the parents)
  • Comfortable in a home with a dog

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive care for both children, including feeding, diapering, and maintaining daily routines
  • Manage school drop-off and pick-up for the older child
  • Plan and engage the children in developmentally appropriate activities such as music, art, reading, and outdoor play
  • Encourage independent play when appropriate
  • Take the children on outings such as walks, playground visits, or library trips
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment
  • Children’s laundry
  • Prepare meals and snacks for the children
  • Be mindful of the older child’s egg and coconut allergies and comfortable safely managing food allergies
  • Keep children’s spaces tidy and organized About the Family

The family is looking for a nanny who is warm, positive, and proactive. They value someone who takes initiative, uses downtime productively, and communicates well. The home also includes a friendly 60-pound Bernedoodle, so applicants who enjoy dogs are encouraged to apply.

Position Details
Start Date: March 23 (flexible for the right candidate)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. While 7am start is needed, the family can be flexible with end time and can offer slightly more or fewer hours depending on the candidate’s preferences.
Compensation: $30–$36/hour, based on experience; taxes withheld

Benefits:
