Full time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - 1+ years experience

Bright Beginnings Speech Pathology is growing, and we are looking to hire 1-2 outstanding Speech-Language Pathology Assistants to join our team.

We are a well-established pediatric private practice located in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles. Our team provides high-quality speech-language, feeding, literacy, cognitive-educational, and developmental support to children and families across clinic, school, home, and community-based settings.

About the Position

This role typically includes a hybrid mix of school-based and clinic-based services during the school year, with increased clinic-based work during the summer months, as available. SLPAs may provide services at our Miracle Mile clinic, local private and charter school sites, and, when appropriate, through home-based or teletherapy services.

The SLPA will work under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and will support children with a wide range of communication and learning needs.

· Providing direct speech-language therapy under SLP supervision

· Implementing treatment plans developed by supervising SLPs

· Supporting children with articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, social communication, fluency, early communication, and language-based learning needs

· Collecting data and documenting client/student progress

· Collaborating with supervising SLPs, families, teachers, and school teams

· Supporting carryover of therapy strategies across clinic, classroom, and home environments

· Participating in team meetings, trainings, and clinical collaboration

· Maintaining a positive, organized, and engaging therapy environment

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field preferred

· Valid California SLPA license required

· Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience preferred

· Experience with ages 0-3 preferred but not required

· School-based experience a plus

· Strong clinical judgment, communication, and writing skills

· Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned school and clinic locations

· Professionalism, dependability, and strong follow-through

Schedule
