Full-Time Summer Nanny ($21/hr) | July-August | Guaranteed 40 Hours | Imagine Care Nannies

Imagine Care Nannies is seeking a warm, engaging, and dependable nanny for a wonderful Huntsville family with two young children, ages 1 and almost 3.

This position begins July 6 and continues through August 14, providing full-time support during a temporary family transition. The children are accustomed to consistent in-home care and thrive with caregivers who are nurturing, interactive, and genuinely enjoy spending their days with young children.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nanny between placements, a teacher on summer break, a college student studying education or child development, or an experienced caregiver looking for meaningful short-term employment.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Guaranteed Pay for 40 Hours Per Week
• July 6-August 14
• Paid Orientation on July 3 (or date agreed upon before start date)

Compensation

• $21 per hour
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

About the Children

The family has two sweet, active children who love books, arts and crafts, music, imaginative play, and outdoor adventures.

They thrive on routine, consistency, and connection. Their days are filled with reading, creative projects, outdoor play, and child-led learning opportunities. Screen time is not part of their daily routine.

A Typical Day Includes

• Reading books together
• Arts and crafts
• Drawing, painting, and creative projects
• Outdoor play with bubbles, chalk, and nature exploration
• Lunch around noon
• Afternoon nap routine
• Child-led play and learning

Responsibilities

• Providing attentive, engaging care for both children
• Planning age-appropriate activities and crafts
• Serving children’s meals and snacks
• Cleaning up after meals and activities
• Children’s laundry
• Keeping toys organized and play spaces tidy
• Maintaining established routines and schedules
• Providing end-of-day updates via group text

Household Expectations

This role is primarily focused on childcare.

The family’s biggest household priority is keeping the kitchen reset throughout the day so parents can return home to a tidy space at the end of the workday.

Additional child-related responsibilities include:

• Children’s laundry
• Toy organization
• Child-related cleanup

No family meal preparation is required.
