We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Teacher to lead and nurture our Infant/Twos Years Old Class. Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers.
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence while ensuring child safety at all times.
- Engage children in hands-on activities that support literacy education, early intervention strategies, and foundational math skills.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions to foster a structured yet flexible learning atmosphere.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to guide positive social interactions and address behavioral challenges with patience and professionalism.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular communication about each child's progress, milestones, and any special needs or accommodations.
- Must be able to willing to change diaper and potty training.
Qualifications
- Must have 12 Semester of 18 Quarter unit of Early Childhood Education along with the Infant and Toddler development unit for the Infant teacher position.
- Proven classroom experience working with infants and toddlers in early childhood education settings or daycare environments.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles, including special education needs and early intervention techniques.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and implementing literacy education strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with families.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
