Full Time Teller

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Full Time Teller to join our team. As a Teller, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing exceptional service while handling various financial transactions. Your role will involve cash handling, member service, and supporting the credit union's financial services. You will play a crucial part in maintaining member satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. Candidate must be willing to commute to Manassas, VA.

Responsibilities

• Open, close, and update member accounts.
• Process member transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Process member correspondence and change requests.
• Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances throughout the day.
• Provide excellent member service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Promote credit union products and services to members.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information and adhere to security protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance member experience.
• Perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy in all transactions.
• Assist in ATM replenishment.
• Adhere to all credit union policies and federal regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cash handling or financial services is preferred.
• Strong member service skills with a focus on building relationships.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Experience is a plus, particularly in financial institutions or related fields.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bilingual preferred.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
