Full time three year old phonics teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Full-Time Three-Year-Old Phonics Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that fosters early literacy skills through engaging phonics instruction tailored specifically for three-year-old children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners to develop foundational reading and language skills, setting the stage for lifelong learning. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement dynamic phonics-based lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and promote literacy development in three-year-olds
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, social-emotional growth, and active participation among young children
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment
  • Incorporate age-appropriate activities that support language acquisition, fine motor skills, and early math concepts
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor each child's progress, adapt teaching strategies, and support individual learning needs including special education or early intervention programs
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to evaluate literacy growth and identify areas for additional support
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to curriculum development, childhood development, Montessori methods, or other relevant educational approaches

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children, particularly in daycare or private school settings
  • Demonstrated expertise in early childhood education principles, including childhood development and behavior management
  • Experience developing and executing curriculum plans focused on literacy education and phonics instruction
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques suitable for toddlers and preschoolers
  • Knowledge of special education strategies and early intervention practices is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children alike
  • Previous experience with standardized testing or tutoring in early literacy or math is desirable
