The Role (Day-to-Day Care)

The nanny will be responsible for the day-to-day care of the children, including engaging them in play, supporting developmental activities, arranging outings, and helping maintain daily routines.

A large portion of the day will involve active play, outdoor time, and attending local classes or playdates. The nanny will also assist with child-related household responsibilities such as preparing meals for the children, managing children’s laundry, organizing toys, and maintaining tidy play spaces.

During nap times or periods when the children are out with a parent, the nanny may assist with light household support such as unloading the dishwasher, organizing children’s items, or helping with simple meal preparation.

Collaboration & Communication

This is a collaborative household where one parent is home during the day and values working alongside the nanny. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable in a shared-care dynamic while also taking initiative when needed.

Clear communication is important to the family. They appreciate regular updates throughout the day, including photos and messages about the children’s activities and routines.

Pets

The household has a large, friendly dog. The nanny will not be responsible for dog walking but should be comfortable being around large pets.

Travel

Compensation: $40/hour paid on payroll

Overtime paid for extended hours, particularly during travel
