Full Time Truck Driver

Job Overview
ShurGreen Farms LLC., is looking to hire a full-time licensed truck driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely pickup and delivery of goods from our customers and delivery back to our facilities. You will be tasked with driving routes using ShurGreen trucks and other assorted commercial vehicles that will be assigned to you, as well as working closely with our operations team to plan routes and track deliveries.

ShurGreen Farms, LLC, is an organic material recycling company. We combine deep industry expertise with expansive facilities and a wholly owned fleet of trucks, dry vans, tankers, semi-trailers, roll-off lidded containers, and refrigerated trailers. We serve customers in the food, beverage, liquid sludge, and packaging industries.

Responsibilities

• Performs any duties as directed by supervisor
• Accurately perform a pre-trip inspection that includes tires, fuel, oil, etc.
• Physically fit to perform duties as assigned
• Report road incidents and mechanical issues to the dispatcher/operations
• Follow traffic laws
• Follow company's accident and reporting procedures
• Have flexibility for start times, sending time, and scheduling
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers and coworkers
• Ability to pass DOT drug test
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business needs

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license
• A Class A CDL or commercial driver's license is required
• One (1) year of experience is not required but preferred
• High school or equivalent (preferred)
• English language skills to communicate clearly and effectively - Spanish is a plus
• Must be able to work and drive in all-weather conditions

Position

• Full-time - hourly
• Year-round work at 40 hours per week on average with options to work additional hours
• Solo Driving

Compensation

• Hourly rate of $26.50
