Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Summary

American Realty Company is seeking a dependable and professional Full-Time Security Officer for a vehicle patrol position in Lexington Park, MD. The Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling the premises in a patrol vehicle, monitoring the property, and helping maintain a safe and secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the property regularly using a designated patrol vehicle
• Monitor the premises for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access
• Report incidents, concerns, or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel
• Maintain a visible and professional security presence while on duty
• Follow all site procedures and company policies
• Provide professional customer service when interacting with staff, visitors, and tenants
• Complete incident reports and daily activity reports as required

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must be reliable, professional, and punctual
• Ability to safely operate a patrol vehicle during assigned shift
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Must be able to follow instructions and site procedures
• Prior security or patrol experience preferred, but not required
