Full Time Universal Banker Team Lead

The Universal Banker plays a key role in delivering a seamless customer experience by handling both teller and personal banker responsibilities. This hybrid position requires a dynamic individual who can process transactions, open and service accounts, offer financial solutions, and build lasting customer relationships.

We are looking for a flexible individual for a full-time position at our location in Metairie, LA. We need an individual who can be mobile and adaptable. Bank Teller experience preferred but not required. Typical hours would be Monday through Friday between 8:15a and 5:00p and rotating Saturdays from 8:15a - 12:00p.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service & Transactions
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Perform a variety of financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and more.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer accurately and responsibly.
• Open and maintain various types of accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, etc.).
• Actively identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and services.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Safeguard customer confidentiality and security of financial information.
• Assist with branch operations, audits, and reporting as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure branch success.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay current on products, systems, and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous banking, cash handling, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with computers and banking software systems.
