Medical Consulting Group (MCG) is seeking a talented and creative Web Designer with a strong focus on UX/UI design to join our in-house creative services team in Springfield, MO.
At MCG, we provide innovative, custom business solutions for medical practices and device manufacturers. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to apply their design skills in real-world web development workflows, collaborate closely with a creative and technical team, and grow professionally in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver thoughtful, user-centric web experiences that support client goals and align with brand guidelines.
- Build and manage websites using WordPress, including page creation, content updates, and plugin use (Beaver Builder knowledge is a plus).
- Create site maps, wireframes, and high-fidelity design mockups.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless translation of design into functional, responsive websites.
- Support and maintain multiple client websites, ensuring ongoing optimization and performance.
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns and other digital assets.
- Use UX tools (such as Microsoft Clarity) to analyze user behavior and improve site experience.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of professional experience in web and UX/UI design (agency or in-house).
- A strong portfolio of web design work—medical industry experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and how your design decisions impact development and site performance.
- Strong problem-solving and design-thinking skills with an eye for detail and functionality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining brand consistency.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and direction from both the IT Director and Senior Web Developer.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on-site in Springfield, MO.

- Experience:
- Adobe Creative Suite: 2 years (preferred)
- Web Design: 2 years (preferred)
- UX/UI Design: 2 years (preferred)
