Full-Time Welder/Pipe Yard Crew Member

Frank Black Pipe & Supply Co. is seeking a full-time Welder/Pipe Yard Crew Member.

We are a family owned and operated steel pipe dealer based in McPherson, Kansas, providing steel pipe and other related steel material.

Duties Include:

• Cutting and welding carbon steel pipe
• Examining completed welds to ensure they are free of defects
• Class A Commercial driver’s license (CDL) and material handling experience is preferred.
• Operating equipment and vehicles safely, productively, and according to company policy
• Various pipe yard duties include pipe handling, sorting, inspecting and processing
• Inspecting/maintaining materials, equipment and tools
• Load, unload and secure materials for delivery
• Observing safety regulations
• Other various general pipe yard duties as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Welding experience and/or training is required
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Travel overnight as needed
