Summary/Objective

The Assistant Teacher works together as a team with the Lead Teacher to ensure the health and safety of children with and without special needs. The Assistant Teacher helps in the implementation of learning activities that enhance children’s physical, cognitive, social-emotional and language development.

Required Education and Experience

18 years of age

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education and Experience

One year experience working in early childhood

One year experience working with children with special needs

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

CDA Credential or currently working on a related degree

Must pass criminal history background check
