Ability to communicate orally in an effective manner, extensive fact-to-face contact with customers and ability to work well with customers, supervisors as well as other employees. Strong organizational skills, able to work well under pressure, proficient computer skills, pleasant telephone manner, detail orientated, mathematical aptitude, problem solving skills, flexibility and ability to multi-task

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Answer telephones
  • Order checks
  • Audit CD, savings & DDA’s
  • Daily audit of unposted items
  • On-line exceptions
  • Wire transfer’s
  • Fund transfers
  • Stop payments
  • Inquiries about bank deposit products and service charges
  • Inquiries about ATM and Debit Card usage and limits
  • Inquiries about checking and savings accounts transactions
  • Inquiries about funds availability
  • Check verifications requests by third parties
  • Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other bank departments when necessary
  • Research customer questions regarding electronic funds transfers
  • Cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs, in accordance with the bank’s program standards
  • Input, maintain and/or delete ATM and debit Cards within system
  • Escort appropriate bank personnel into the vault and maintain dual control for safekeeping access and official check and ATM Card requisition.
  • Assist in verifying the accuracy of document images.
  • Process lockbox payments, including deposit preparation and daily report transmission
  • Conduct check verifications
  • Maintain reports
