Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social skills, aligning with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's safety, comfort, and developmental needs are met daily.
  • Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support children with special education needs through tailored interventions and early intervention techniques.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Conduct assessments of childhood development milestones and prepare progress reports for parents and guardians.
  • Lead engaging lessons that incorporate Montessori methods and standardized testing preparation when appropriate.
  • Foster strong communication with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists to ensure cohesive support for each child's growth.

Requirements

  • Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings, including preschool experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies.
  • Experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.
  • Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and literacy education techniques.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff, and external specialists.
  • Ability to implement teaching methods such as Montessori or other child-centered approaches.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and child welfare standards to ensure safe and nurturing environments.
