Fulltime mid-morning/early afternoon janitor

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Fulltime Janitor to join our team during mid-morning to early afternoon hours Monday-Friday. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct detailed dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and surface sanitation to uphold hygiene standards
• Operate floor care equipment such as buffers and polishers to maintain shiny, well-maintained flooring
• Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are fully equipped
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to maintenance teams
• Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed to meet specific client or facility requirements

Skills

• Experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning practices is a plus, but we will hire someone with a good attitude, good attendance, team work ready… 100% willing to train the right person with no previous janitorial experience
• Strong understanding of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing surfaces (when needed.. typically this role is voluntary)
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
• Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout shifts

Increase in pay after 90 days once trained and shows good work and good attendance

More hours available if you want 40 hrs/week

This position would have a start date of Monday July 20th.

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
