Founded in 2007, Elliant Counseling Services is a small group practice located in Centennial, Colorado, dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health services to individuals, couples, teens, kids, and families. Our focus is on trauma, PTSD, couple and family therapy, and sex/porn addiction. We pride ourselves on offering a supportive and empowering environment for both our clients and our team members.

Job Description:

We are seeking a fully-licensed mental health therapist to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with trauma and PTSD, providing therapy to couples and families who present with trauma and may need foundational skills/tools. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and collaborate with a supportive team of therapists.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting couples/families and (optional) group therapy sessions
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Maintaining accurate and timely client records
  • Monitoring and evaluating clients’ progress and modifying treatment plans accordingly
  • Responding to client inquiries within one business day
  • Scheduling sessions and maintaining scheduling of active clients
  • Providing weekly tracking of client hours
  • Collaborating with other therapists and professionals as needed

Qualifications:

  • Fully licensed LPC/LMFT in Colorado
  • Individual malpractice/liability insurance
  • Experience working with clients experiencing complex trauma and PTSD, as well as willingness to learn new skills in this area (CSATs encouraged to apply!)
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Culturally attuned and sensitive
  • Practices to the highest ethical standards and follows the APA Code of Ethics
  • Solid understanding of current research and best practices
  • Ability to properly use approaches with clients including, but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused Approaches, Emotionally Focused Approaches, and other Systems approaches as appropriate
  • Proficient computer skills, including using Google Workspace, Gmail, Google Calendar, and Jane EHR for scheduling and progress notes
  • Ability to contribute mental health-focused blogs in your areas of expertise for the ECS website to market yourself
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a care team

Pay: $84.00 - $101.50 per hour
