Fully Qualified Electrician

We are currently seeking a skilled electrician to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing and testing electrical systems.

Purpose of role:

This role requires a strong understanding of various electrical systems and the ability to work safely and efficiently at all times. The successfil candidate will ensure that all work complies with relevant regulations and standards.

The work will mainly be within electrical substations and will consist of electrical remedial works, small electrical installations, electrical maintenance and live testing.

You must be fully qualified and graded as an electrician with a full UK driving licence.

Transport to job sites from our main location will be proivded.

Pay range will according to experience and qualifications/grade.

• You will be required to hold an ECS/CSCS card (help can be provided).
• You will be required to undertake suitable authorisation to enter and work in an electrical substation, which we will arrange.
• You will be DBS checked - we will undertake this.

Responsibilities:

You will, as post holder, be able to work under your own initiative and know when to seek support in carrying out your duties. You should have the ability to cope well when under pressure and being able to demonstrate a flexible approach without supervision is essential, as is the ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member. You will also be reponsible for the electrical maintenance at the Morton & Jones yard.

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform electrical wiring, conduit bending and troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret electrical technical drawings.
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician and nationally recognized qualifications, i.e. Level 3 NVQ Diploma in electrotechnical services, passed the AM2 assessment, 18th edition.

Proficient in working with electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
