Pilgrim Learning Academy is looking for a warm, energetic, and reliable Preschool Teacher to join our wonderful team! If you love working with little ones and want to make a positive impact in our community we would love to meet you.
The Details:
Pay: $22/ hour with the completion of 12 core ECE Units.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 9am to 6pm with 1 hour lunch
Start Date: We are looking for someone who can start late April to at the lates May 4th.
What is my role:
- Dynamic Classroom Support: You will be our flexible superstar, moving between our different classrooms and engaging with children ages 2 to 5 throughout the day.
- Food Prep: Assisting with daily food preparation and meal/snack times to keep our kids fueled and happy! This will also entail keeping the eating areas and kitchen clean and ready to be used.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with our amazing staff to maintain a fun, safe, and nurturing envirionment.
- Substituting: You may find yourself teaching in a classroom for a day if the need arises. Here you will be supporting the lead teacher and if there is no lead teacher in that classroom you will be teaching those children on your own for the day.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning for preschool-aged children.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists in special education or early intervention programs.
- Ability to develop engaging curriculum content that includes literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and Montessori techniques.
- Skilled in behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior and social skills among young learners.
- Experience working with diverse student populations including toddlers and children with special needs or requiring early intervention services.
- Familiarity with daycare regulations, private school standards, standardized testing procedures, and child welfare policies. Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds today! Pay: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour
