Job Description

MPW Marketing, based in New Hartford, NY, is seeking a Website UX / Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to join our team in a permanent, full-time role. This position is fully remote and requires 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling. The role reports directly to MPW’s Director of Website Optimization, with regular check-ins to align on priorities, strategy, execution, and performance.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means owning CRO initiatives end to end with clear accountability for outcomes. This includes diagnosing performance issues through behavioral data and analytics, defining testing and optimization roadmaps, designing and implementing experiments, and translating results into actionable strategic recommendations.

The ideal candidate operates independently, exercises strong judgment in prioritizing work that drives measurable impact, and stays current on UX, CRO, and digital behavior trends. They clearly communicate insights, results, and next steps to both internal teams and clients, building confidence through clarity, evidence, and follow-through.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own conversion rate optimization initiatives from analysis through execution and reporting
  • Design and build user experience and conversion-optimized webpages and landing pages
  • Define CRO strategies and testing roadmaps aligned with client business goals
  • Present strategies, findings, and recommendations clearly and confidently to clients
  • Collaborate with SEO and AI Optimization teams to align site performance and growth objectives
  • Write and test copy informed by behavioral psychology and engagement principles
  • Analyze user behavior, funnels, and performance data to identify friction and opportunity
  • Configure analytics, testing, and reporting platforms during client onboarding
  • Generate clear, actionable performance reports for internal and client use
  • Contribute to the evolution of CRO processes, frameworks, and best practices within the department

Supporting Responsibilities

  • Support new site builds, including content population and implementation of edits
  • Assist with wireframing and UX planning for new landing pages
  • Execute limited ad hoc front-end development work as needed
  • Build and optimize email campaigns connected to CRO initiatives
  • Manage photography assets and assist with landing page creation on site builds
  • Adhere to website accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) in design and implementation

Helpful Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in UX, CRO, and conversion-focused design
  • Strong marketing fundamentals with an understanding of digital consumer behavior
  • WordPress experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics to derive actionable insights
  • Experience using AI tools as a productivity multiplier in research, testing, analysis, or execution
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini
  • Familiarity with Figma and Looker Studio is a plus
  • JavaScript or PHP familiarity is a plus

Time Commitment

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. MPW offers flexibility in when those hours are worked, provided responsibilities are met with strong organization, communication, and follow-through.
