About the Children
Child A (11-year-old boy): Ryley is a happy, sweet, and affectionate boy with Autism. He does not have physical or behavioral challenges. His primary area of support is pragmatic speech — while he may not always fully articulate his feelings or needs, he communicates effectively using short phrases and gestures and has made tremendous progress. He thrives in a fun, relaxed, and engaging environment where connection comes first. The goal of this role is to build joy and confidence — not structure or rigidity.

Child B (younger sister): Has her own nanny and will not be your responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise child and ensure his safety
• Engage in fun, interactive games and activities
• Support communication and emotional expression
• Assist with post-bath dressing
• Prepare simple meals (pasta, chicken nuggets, rice, bacon, etc.) and ensure he eats
• Child’s laundry if time permits

Important Notes

• NO pets in the home
• Flu and COVID vaccination NOT required
• This is a relaxed, fun-focused role — not a strict or heavily structured environment
• Additional hours may be available for 3 weeks during the summer (optional)
• The family is seeking someone friendly, upbeat, and kind above all else
• Ability to handle light cleaning duties related to childcare responsibilities

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
