Summary:
The Functional Consultant is a mid-level professional supporting SAP projects and helping bridge business needs with technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of SAP modules and business processes, with a strong desire to learn and grow within a collaborative environment. Excellent written and verbal English skills are required to communicate effectively with global teams. Experience working with US/EU companies is preferred. Key Responsibilities:
- Support SAP modules by assisting in L2 and L3 incident resolution, including troubleshooting, analysis, and coordinating with technical teams for fixes.
- Help resolve complex incidents by analyzing issues, reproducing errors, and supporting senior team members in implementing solutions.
- Contribute to SAP enhancement delivery by gathering requirements, supporting the creation of functional specifications, and assisting with configuration and testing processes.
- Maintain and update process documentation such as process flows, configuration guides, SOPs, and knowledge base articles to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Participate in testing activities, including designing test cases, executing SIT/UAT, and validating transports to ensure system quality.
- Collaborate with cross-team members, including Basis and ABAP teams, to resolve interface and integration issues.
- Follow organizational change management procedures, including RFCs, impact assessments, and deployment activities.
- Monitor system performance and incident trends to identify recurring issues and areas for improvement.
- Support end-user training and knowledge transfer initiatives to enhance user proficiency with SAP systems.
- Ensure all activities and documentation adhere to organizational standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Early-career AMS analysts or SAP support professionals with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in L2/L3 incident resolution, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and coordinating fixes with technical teams.
- Basic knowledge of SAP modules and support processes, with familiarity in incident management and SLA adherence.
- Support experience in delivering SAP enhancements: gathering requirements, contributing to functional specifications, configuration, and testing.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to create and maintain process flows, configuration guides, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Familiarity with SAP support environments, including incident tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy).
- Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist in end-user training.
- A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Knowledge of SAP best practices, support procedures, and change management processes (RFCs, impact assessments).
- Motivated to learn and grow within SAP support and AMS environments, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Strong written and verbal English (required).
- Experience with US/EU companies (preferred).
Rate: $16-23 USD/hour

Pay: ₹1,419.00 - ₹2,042.00 per hour
