Functional Medicine General Practitioner - Female Only

The Functional Medicine General Practitioner is responsible for delivering patient-centered care that addresses the root causes of disease, using a holistic and integrative approach. This role requires expertise in functional medicine principles, alongside strong general medical knowledge, diagnostic skills, and the ability to develop personalized treatment plans. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, analytical, and committed to supporting long-term health and wellness for patients in a private healthcare setting in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Consultations:

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, including detailed medical histories, lifestyle assessments, and laboratory reviews
• Identify underlying causes of chronic and complex health conditions using functional medicine principles
• Develop individualized treatment plans that integrate nutrition, lifestyle, supplements, and conventional medical interventions
• Provide patient education and guidance on disease prevention and wellness strategies
• Offer patients a comprehensive wellness and anti-aging approach
• Manage patients holistically, combining prevention, optimization, and aesthetic/regenerative treatments

Clinical Procedures & Follow-up:

• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions with evidence-based interventions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Perform or coordinate necessary diagnostic tests and interpret results in the context of functional medicine

Coordination & Communication:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, wellness coaches, and specialists
• Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment plans, and lifestyle interventions
• Maintain strong professional relationships with patients and colleagues to ensure holistic care

Documentation & Compliance:

• Accurately document patient records in line with UAE healthcare regulations and clinic policies
• Ensure adherence to DHA/MOH licensing requirements and clinical governance standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality and data protection in all interactions

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in case discussions, clinical audits, and functional medicine case reviews
• Stay updated on advances in functional medicine, integrative health, and conventional medicine
• Contribute to improving clinical protocols, wellness programs, and patient care services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• DHA/MOH licensed (or eligibility) as a General Practitioner in the UAE
• Certification or demonstrable experience in functional medicine
• Proven experience in private healthcare or integrative clinical settings
• Strong diagnostic, analytical, and patient-centered care skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and MS Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients and complex cases efficiently
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical standards, and continuous professional development
• Expertise in aesthetic and regenerative medicine is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
