Functional Medicine Specialist -GP ( DHA Licensed )

Position Overview:

We are looking for a full-time DHA Licensed General Practitioner with mandatory and proven experience in Functional Medicine. This role is ideal for a practitioner who is passionate about identifying and addressing the root causes of illness, rather than just managing symptoms, and who is experienced in creating individualized treatment plans based on functional medicine principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments using both conventional and functional medicine frameworks
• Develop customized treatment plans targeting the root causes of chronic conditions (e.g., gut health, hormonal imbalances, inflammation, toxicity, nutritional deficiencies)
• Interpret complex diagnostic data including advanced lab testing (e.g., GI MAP, DUTCH test, Organic Acids, food sensitivity testing, hormonal panels, etc.)
• Educate patients on integrative health strategies, nutritional protocols, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with in-house specialists in detox, nutrition, and wellness therapies
• Stay updated with evidence-based research and functional medicine protocols
• Maintain DHA-compliant medical documentation and patient follow-ups.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid DHA License as a General Practitioner (mandatory)
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Functional Medicine (clinical application is essential)
• Certification or formal training in Functional Medicine (IFM, A4M, or equivalent highly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of nutritional science, detoxification pathways, gut health, hormonal balance, and lifestyle medicine
• Experience working with chronic conditions such as autoimmune disorders, fatigue, digestive issues, metabolic syndrome, etc.
• Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to synthesize data from conventional and functional lab tests
• Outstanding communication, empathy, and patient education skills
