Functional QA Game Testing

Job Title: Functional QA Tester – Game Testing (Should be flexible to do Night Shift / US Shift)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Functional QA Tester with hands-on experience in game testing to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for quality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively during night shifts (US hours).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional and regression testing of games across web and mobile platforms.
• Validate gameplay mechanics, UI/UX elements, scoring logic, animations, and in-game interactions.
• Identify, document, and track defects clearly using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Reproduce and verify reported issues and ensure proper closure after fixes.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Follow test cases, test scenarios, and checklists as per project requirements.
• Conduct compatibility testing across devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
• Participate in test case reviews and contribute to continuous test process improvements.
• Provide daily and weekly QA status reports aligned with US working hours.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in functional testing, with at least 1 year in game testing (web or mobile).
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test cycles, and defect lifecycle.
• Experience in testing 2D/3D games, simulations, or interactive educational content is preferred.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, or similar).
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written (mandatory).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Willingness to work exclusively in the night shift (US shift).

Good to Have:

• Experience with browser and device compatibility testing.
• Knowledge of basic automation tools or scripts (nice to have).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Passion for games, learning platforms, or interactive content.

Shift & Availability:

• Shift: Flexible to work in Night Shift (US Time Zone)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
