Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Functional Test Supervisor to lead our testing teams in delivering high-quality software solutions. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and management of functional testing activities across various platforms, including mobile and web applications. Your leadership will ensure that our products meet rigorous quality standards and align with business requirements. Duties
Team workload management
- Assign tasks to team members to achieve the production schedule
- Communicate updates on issue, task, and deliverable status in production meetings
- Remove obstacles that are preventing the team from accomplishing their objectives.
- Ensure that all tasks are clearly defined.
- Work with leadership and team members to utilize and enhance processes.
- Hold team members accountable for data accuracy and task time efficiency
Team resourcing
- Resource the functional test team with the training and tools required to win in their roles.
- Train team members on RCAL standard procedures for the functional test team.
- Create and maintain assembly-specific test procedures
- Train team members to assembly-specific test procedures
- Test fixture development, acquisition, maintenance, and repair.
Team culture
- Provide oversight for team member professional and personal development.
- Weekly one-on-one meetings with team members.
- Lead by example in setting the values and pursuing the vision.
- Encourage team members while holding them accountable to team values.
Requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to perform root cause analysis effectively under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners. QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma
- Ability to perform precise, fine-motor soldering work requiring controlled hand movements and sustained visual focus
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a production environment
- Reliable attendance
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, cleaning agents and noise. Safety protocols and PPE are required at all times.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing for extended periods
- Lifting up to 40 lbs
- Repetitive hand movements
- Visual inspection work
