Fund Office Clerk

Role Description

The Electrical Workers Local 369 Benefit and Retirement Funds (the “Funds”), located in Louisville, Kentucky, are actively seeking a full-time on-site Fund Office Clerk. The Fund Office Clerk will handle a variety of administrative tasks including data entry, document creation/maintenance, filing, mailing distribution, phone/walk-in issue resolution and providing support to the Claims department.

Responsibilities

• Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to professionally interact with members
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate customer records including enrollment and beneficiary information
• Mail new member enrollment materials
• Maintain eligibility files
• Perform filing
• Coordinate member mailings and manage returned mail
• Pull and organize claims and correspondence as needed for audits, review, etc.
• Support the Claims department
• Prepare standard correspondence and/or form letters
• Provide excellent customer service support on phones and walk-ins
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
• Other assignments as needed

Qualifications

Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of general office experience
• Claims experience highly preferred
• Data entry and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
