Overview
Are you passionate about making a difference through dynamic fundraising initiatives? We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Fundraising Event Assistant to support our project-based fundraising activities. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to impactful causes by assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising events.
Duties
- Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising event strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Support the planning and logistics of upcoming fundraising events, including venue coordination, vendor communication, and volunteer management.
- Maintain and update excel sheets, databases, and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track donor information, contributions, and engagement activities.
- Conduct research on potential donors, sponsors, grants, and partnership opportunities to expand outreach efforts.
- Foster relationships with donors, partners, and community stakeholders through personalized communication and customer service.
- Support marketing efforts by creating promotional materials, managing social media campaigns, and enhancing public relations initiatives to maximize event visibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with databases, CRM software, or similar systems for data management.
- Strong understanding of event planning/fundrasiers
- Excellent organization skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in nonprofit or event planning settings is a plus but not required.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
