Furniture and Interior Design Showroom Coordinator

Kora Home Artistry is a high-end furniture showroom serving both design professionals and retail clients. We are looking for a showroom coordinator with a strong design eye, solid product knowledge, and the ability to operate and maintain a polished, high-functioning showroom.

This is not a passive retail role. You will be responsible for how the showroom looks, functions, and performs on a daily basis — from client experience to organization, sales support, and overall presentation.

Schedule Requirements (non-negotiable):

  • Wednesday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Thursday evenings until 8:00 PM (summer months)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the day-to-day showroom operations and overall presentation of the space
  • Maintain a clean, styled, and organized showroom and sample library at all times
  • Assist designers, trade partners, and retail clients with product selections and inquiries
  • Speak confidently to furniture, lighting, textiles, materials, and vendor lines
  • Generate, track, and follow up on client inquiries and sales opportunities
  • Manage POS system and process showroom sales accurately
  • Coordinate with internal design and procurement teams on active projects
  • Manage order details, client communication, and follow-through
  • Keep the showroom floor updated, styled, and aligned with current inventory
  • Maintain and organize the sample room and resource materials
  • Coordinate vendor trainings and support showroom events and activations

Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-end furniture, interior design, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials, and vendor relationships
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Professional, polished, and confident in a client-facing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping details
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with POS systems and sales operations
  • Reliable, accountable, and consistent with schedule expectations

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with interior designers or within a trade-focused showroom
  • Familiarity with custom furniture and made-to-order vendors
  • Experience with quoting, order tracking, or procurement coordination

Role Expectations:

This role will start with a high level of collaboration, direction, and oversight to ensure alignment with how we operate and the level of detail we expect.

As you get up to speed, the expectation is that you take full ownership of the showroom — anticipating needs, staying ahead of tasks, and operating independently without day-to-day direction.

This is not a role for someone who needs ongoing direction.

Compensation:
Hourly + sales-based incentives (based on experience)

If you know product, can manage a space, and are ready to take ownership of a showroom environment, we’d love to connect.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Employee discount

Work Location: In person
