Furniture Assemble technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Furniture Assemble Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling a wide variety of furniture pieces efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality standards are met. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and other trades to deliver exceptional service and craftsmanship. Duties

• Assemble furniture pieces according to schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer instructions using hand tools and power tools
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate construction
• Install fixtures, hardware, and accessories such as handles, hinges, and locks with precision
• Perform quality inspections on assembled furniture to ensure durability and adherence to specifications
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and optimize workflow processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on the job site
• Assist with other carpentry or renovation tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or minor repairs as needed

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches) and power tools (drills, saws) effectively
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for accurate assembly
• Experience with construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, or related trades preferred
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques including cabinetry installation and metal stud framing
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of the job
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and experience working in construction or restoration industries
• Skills in fixture installation, caulking, siding, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing or electrical experience are a plus
• Experience with CNC machinery or fabrication processes is advantageous but not required
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in assembly processes
